Your Ideal Pocket Monster Tales: Z-A Super Form Based on Your Astrological Sign

This return of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited widespread enthusiasm across the fandom. From the gradual unveiling of fresh additions ahead of the title's release, to trainers forming strong opinions on the full roster of new Megas, there's plenty for enthusiasts to look forward to.

With many of the Mega Evolutions showcasing distinctive designs that emphasize their traits, one idea naturally: What's the best way to connect this with astrology? The following is inspired by a blend of vibes, common zodiac traits, and individual observations.

Aries – Mega Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndour's evolution was nearly chosen for Aries, as both are the Mega Pokémon and astrological sign that evoke the greatest apprehension. But, a Mega Houndoom comes across as constantly angry, which doesn't match the Aries vibe, known for being playful, light-hearted, and impulsive. That's why Aries far more similar to Mega Camerupt, which only spews lava when angered. Stay on the friendly side of either and benefit from a strong partner; should you offend them, be ready to get burned.

The Bull – Mega Heracross

Similar to a loyal Bull, the steadfast Heracross, both in its regular and Super Form, has assisted many players in Legends: Z-A. Though dependable, each the creature and a Taurus are also Fighting types, and – whether it's their companion or a firm belief – will stand up for their side to the end. What about Super Heracross that reminds me most of my Bull-sign companions, though, is its unashamed love of snacks. Several previous Pokédex entries note their fondness for tasty sap and how it employs its appendage to collect it all, which is true Bull-sign vibe.

Gemini – Mega Medicham

Observe this total royalty. You cannot tell me this Pokémon is not the life of every party, providing an endless stream of gossip to those who wish to listen. Much like an captivating, sociable Twins, it's very easy to imagine Mega Medicham mesmerizing an whole open area with their stories. This Pokémon's official description also states its capacity to foresee an enemy’s future actions, which sounds very like a people-smart Gemini.

Cancer – Super Manectric

The Crab is commonly regarded as the most emotional member of the astrological wheel, a passionate symbol known for often becoming wrapped up in their feelings. According to the official info, Super Evolution fills the Pokémon with a “huge quantity of electricity, but it's too much for Manectric to completely control,” which seems a lot like a typical Cancer emotional outburst. This Pokémon is also known for its capability to create a storm cloud over its own head – and if there’s one thing a Crab is going to do, it’s rain on their own parade.

Leo – Super Starmie

Well, did you assume I was going to pick Pyroar for the lion of the stars? Aside from the fact that it would be much too on the nose, Leo is clearly Super Starmie, the diva whose legs just went viral for being too fabulous (or terrifying, depending on your taste). Fans were captivated from the purple sea star, and that’s exactly the same vibe a Lion brings to the scene. This Pokémon is also rumored to be broadcasting radio waves from its center out into the cosmos, and it’s just like a Leo to be staging a show, even if for extraterrestrials.

Virgo – Mega Victreebel

The ever-prepared and perpetually-anxious Virgo is perfectly represented in Super Victreebel, the Super Form with constant acid reflux. The sign famous for being charmingly judgmental is strongly reflected throughout this creature's entire lineage, from a always shocked expression like a Virgo when you inform them you don’t have a 401(k), to its inverted visage that’s just like the symbol a Virgo sends to the group chat when everyone says they want to “be spontaneous” rather than creating a plan.

The Scales – Mega Audino

Observe this gentle, sensitive creature, who employs the sensors on its ears to tell how others are feeling by their pulse. Consistently empathetic – occasionally to a fault – and striving to keep the harmony, there are many Scales who would probably appreciate Mega Audino’s abilities. However, let’s be honest, it would likely just cause them to stress more about others.

The Scorpion – Super Banette

Banette is a Pokémon with a unexpectedly tragic origin: Abandoned as a toy, it became sentient through pure hatred and vowed revenge on its previous caretaker. Per the official info, Super Evolution, “enhances its spitefulness.” That sounds exactly like several conversations I’ve had with my intense Scorpion acquaintances. A Scorpion loves cosmic justice and comeuppance, making them the ideal match with Mega Banette.

The Archer – Mega Hawlucha

Each Mega Hawlucha and Archers are always putting on a performance. Being a Sagittarius myself, the amount of times I’ve called myself some version of a “silly little jester” is innumerable. The showiest and most attention-seeking Super Form, its Pokédex entry even notes how it “poses to display its strength.” I would do the very same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Sagittarius counterpart I can think of.

Capricorn – Super Absol

Were you aware that a Super Absol has the power to foresee calamities ahead of time? That exudes the exact same vibe as a Capricorn, who tends to always think they’re right. The thing is, similar to a prophetic Super Absol, they frequently are. It’s also the absolute initial Super Form that players encounter in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Capricorn to join the ground floor of the Super Form craze.

The Water Bearer – Mega Chandelure

Aloof element Water Bearer is arguably the non-fire sign that is most like a flame symbol – its counterpart is Leo, and there are numerous memes about Sagittarius and Water Bearer being chaotic partners in crime. Mega Chandelure’s double Spirit/Flame typing matches perfectly with this, and the Super Form's overall intimidating presence is also very Aquarius. If you hadn't yet persuaded, the Mega’s description says it “absorbs negative energy and converts it into strength.” If that doesn’t exactly {encaps
